I’m an American who lives in Canada. Am I allowed to criticize Tim Hortons? I feel like I should be since Burger King bought them.

I love this post and your profile pic

My wife didn’t change her name when we got married. That was A-OK by me, but I made her promise we wouldn’t have to give any future kids hyphenated last names because I was envisioning this scenario you described. There will be no Johnny Humperdinck-Premium.

When they’re all together they’re Whole-Leigh

How dare you forget about Notre Dame

Honestly, I think this is really cool.

Congrats to Seth Green - he really made that Austin Powers money work for him

You’re acting like any of the P5 conferences would let UCF in. You don’t think they’d say yes? Of course they would. But the big boys in the region are full and don’t want to expand, and the Big 12, despite having only 10 teams, isn’t calling either.

I assume the other hand was lost to diabetes at the Sugar Bowl

Do you think that “harvest season” is over at the beginning of October south of the Wall?

Which one?

It’s obvious: they switched to Gab

Absolutely. I don’t do it often enough, but today in lieu of lunch I had fresh bread from the bakery, dipped in a little bit of good olive oil with rosemary and salt. It was simple and it was heaven.

What’s even more fucking stupid is that Bay County isn’t done counting votes either. Mine didn’t get tabulated until today, based on their website.

Well, the guidelines say 14, which only the “actually, it’s ephebophilia” crowd would call adulthood. I didn’t start football at all until I was about that age and had a pretty good career of it. People can learn how to block and tackle very well in just a couple of years - there’s no need to start doing it as a small

This is some “Oilers-in-the-2017-playoffs” shit - they got most of their offense against the Ducks while down a man.

I don’t get his personal stake in this. It’s entirely possible for youth sports to leave out heavy physical contact - bodychecks are illegal in youth hockey, for example, and it doesn’t seem to hurt (and might even help) the pro game.

Right on, man. I gotcha.
