Hi! :)
Hi! :)
Platform Edge Doors are a mature technology and common worldwide in systems with automated train operations like Singapore and parts of the London and Paris systems. They are very effective at keeping people off the tracks but require very precise stopping to line up the doors which is why PEDs are normally paired…
Who parks the Million dollar car in the driveway?
“It should be said that the recall has already hurt the company. Shares of the automaker have fallen over four percent today.”
For a scheme like this to work it’d probably have to be a pair of ships, that the residents would alternate time on. One at sea, the other in dry dock being cleaned and serviced.
Yep there are 3 seats left in F3, she should get one.
I agree. For what it is, I don’t think it’s terrible. It would be one thing if it was just a dry docked ship or a ship docked at a port. But it’s basically a cruise ship. I have some cousins who are in their mid 70s and probably spend over a month at sea in a normal year. This would be ideal for them if they were a…
I am also confused by this. Does having a press car somehow make you an unsafe driver? Shouldn’t driving different cars be part of the job of an automotive journalist?
With Torch gone, Jalopnik needs someone new to write crap articles about Tesla. Looks like it’s going to be Erin’s job.
What is the purpose of this post? FSD is bad, not robust to practical conditions & snow? Yup agreed.
Lolwut! I mean, no power driver’s seat?! In a car marketed as a luxury sedan? What’s the underlying vehicle this thing is based on anyway? Some sorta Euro Fiat platform swap?
I think this is more a recognition that their vehicles are overpriced.
I have my 2005 Ford Excursion Eddie Bauer 6.0 Power Stroke Turbo Diesel 4x4 for sale. This rig is in immaculate condition and is like new. For those of you who do not know these diesel motors are indestructible and run forever.
To each their own I guess. American vehicles from about 1971-1993 are a black hole to me.
Ford and GM’s refusal to build new vehicles that compete in this space is what leads to prices like this.
Could you not assume what I think? That’d be nice.
“Amazon bought nearly 20 percent of a cargo logistics company called ATSG for $131 million in March, 2021. ATSG operates multiple airline subsidiaries, one of which, Omni Air International, moves human beings for the federal government.”
I have 2 friends who do it. Both were pretty happy with it also until Covid. The weird hours aren’t an issue and depending on landing and departure times they either got to have a great time in the city they landed in or a few drinks at the bar if they were luck, sleep and back to work. The pay is middling in the…
There is a special place in Hell for people that are abusive to service staff, and an even worse one for the rightwing assholes who turned a minor public health measure into their personal career brand.
Unfortunately, they decided to drive 90mph in a 30mph residential zone not built for that type of speed. The Autobahn, for example, was/is designed with speed in mind and has safety features like guard rails on both sides to prevent cars from impacting stuff like trees.
