These look great for some jobs...But just like ramps or drive on lifts, they won't help you at all if you need to do any work with the wheels off.

The real problem was his technique. His belly down, backwards stance meant that any dismount while moving could only result in—at best—a head injury, and likely getting run over.

Probably depends on how lenient your state is. I'm sure it's possible in some places if you play your cards right. Where I live (Hawaii) there'd be no chance, unless you got it registered somewhere else first and managed to get a title issued.
Surprised Haas didn't just buy Marussia outright. Yeah, he'd be buying some debt, but would also get the prize money from this year, right? Now it seems that prize money may well go unclaimed.
Sixty computers seems like a lot, but if you drive a high end luxury car that's fully loaded with all the electronic options, it's certainly possible. I'm a volvo mechanic, and the newer cars can have over 30 different computer modules on board.

Awesome. Not to take anything away from the drivers, because I'm sure putting down 10,000 horsepower takes skill, but this really show how drag racing is at the highest level is really a sport for the mechanics and racing engineers.
