I sure thought Fed was cooked when he went down a break in the 5th. Federer hits a better shot than anyone, ever, but Nadal is like a force of nature, a tsunami or an avalanche, he just never stops coming and ends up crushing you. So when Fed pulled it out I was shocked and thrilled.

Oh please Ye Gods let one last Federer-Nadal final happen! After 2016 we are OWED this!

Alex Rodriguez and Roger Clemens are... THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS.

I haven’t read all 400 replies, but if no one else has mentioned, Donnie Darko may have started this with “Mad World”, which a lot of people don’t even know is a cover.

Unless you can die from dysentery, from an artillery shell while playing poker in your dugout, or from having your throat cut by a 50-franc Parisian prostitute, I’m not interested.

The Cowboys' stadium has something similar. I think it's basically so that people can buy higher-priced tickets to touch the players as they walk out.

I'm not voting for Trump. Having said that, I think it's pretty stupid to attack someone like Jimmy Fallon because he wasn't rude or insulting to Trump. Those are the author's priorities, but because she considers them-self-evidently right, she feels that everyone out there except those reprehensible "deplorables"

I was watching the game and joking with my dad about all the rookies and 2nd year players, and then the announcers mentioned that backup RB Tim Hightower had not played IN THREE YEARS. So they're getting guys off the scrap heap.

I don’t see why this is such a hard decision. Get 2 yards, win the game. You probably won’t have a better chance than that.

I thought 54 should have been ejected for that hit. On the other hand, I thought that Miller's facemask-to-facemask hit looked worse than it was and was not targeting. But many of the hits clearly were.

Eugene "the hitting machine" Lockhart. Jesse Penn. Dat Nguyen. Don Smerek.

Good thing the Elas sports bureau was on this.

I think that’s the real Djokovic - the one who consoles and encourages his opponents when he beats them, and sincerely congratulates them when they turn the tables. I can’t stand his preening "warrior" act but I think that's all just marketing.

I saw Mark Whiten of the Cardinals nail Ron Gant at the plate back in the early 90s. The ball never even got more than 15 feet above the ground. Can't seem to dig up any video, though.

I’m a big Keytronic fan myself. I've been using them for 25 years. I love the big PC XT form factor.

That's a pretty good list!

The most amazing thing to me was that he got the ball before it touched the glass, by only an inch or two. If it hits the backboard and he blocks it, that's goaltending. Just a brilliant play.

Yeah, I don’t think anyone was like “McAdoo! NOW WE GOT THIS.” I was only interested to see if he was related to Bob McAdoo (he is - nephew I think).

No disrespect intended, but as a Celtics fan you probably remember the 45-15 in Game 6 back in 2012 (an elimination game for the Heat). I think he kicked the "fragile" tag for sure then. And I'm not even a big fan of him.

I'm almost 50 years old and uncool, and I like them. A lot.
