The dragon stories I grew up with often had male dragons, but some stories did have female dragons. I never had the impression dragons were inherently masculine.

Not true. Boston's North End is a great example of gentrification changing the character of a formerly Italian section of the city. And people complain about it plenty.

I like the Kate Middleton approach to accessories. Clearly she can wear just about anything she wants, regardless of price, but she can easily mix a $5000 Cartier watch with $200 High Street earrings and make it all look incredibly elegant. It's important to look like you aren't trying too hard.
