I’m a huge Deep Space Nine fan, but the theme song is SO BORING. I’ve watched the show beginning to end more than once and if you asked me to hum a few notes I’d be at a total loss. Humorously, they tried to “amp up” the song around season 4 but it’s still SO SLOW.

See, I know half the dogs in this movie are going to die and I’m already misty eyed about it. Wes Anderson loves to kill pets.

The TV version of Boondocks. I recently rewatched the first season and was struck by how much of a time capsule it was - I was transported right back into the mid 2000's. The most obvious example being "A Date From the Health Inspector" which is a huge metaphor for the war, but the whole show is steeped in it. Man,

For me, the scene where Joaquin screams at the baby picture was the biggest laugh I had in the movies that year.

Oh you sweet summer child.

Friends at the Table finally inspired me to start Role Playing. It’s an amazing podcast. I never thought it would be so emotional. There was a moment character was about to make such a horrible choice I had to pause the podcast - too intense! It also has amazing music (check it out on bandcamp).

I'm finding Millar's most recent stuff (Starlight, Huck) a vast improvement over his earlier stuff.

As much as I'm impressed with the DRAMA BOMB episodes, like Cry for Help, this kind of episode is Steven Universe at it's best for me (ex. Maximum Capacity, ). SU consistently gets right low-key childhood experiences, like having a play date with you mom's (space-rock aunt?) friend's kid so they can hang out. More

His deliveries are like a thirties newscaster.
"I like the cut of your jib, Flash, m' boy."

Tammy 2 is like Maris from Frasier, but we actually see her.

Dr. McNinja is amazing. It has Archer levels of continuity going for it. Also: Dinosaurs.

Claire's fondness for drinking has become an ongoing joke in my household.
"Randall pours wine out the window*
Claire: "Noooooo."
*Jamie bring Claire a drink*
Claire: "Well, he knows the way to MY heart."

"Have you seen any German spies?"
"Nien"
"Nine!?"
The way Hugh Laurie says nine makes me laugh every time, it's one of my favorite gags from the show.

Well, this is why Spider Woman is my pet peeve costume. This cover is only slightly worse than any image of Spider-Woman, why can we see the contour of her bellybutton through her costume! At least the leotard costume pull from traditions of gymnastics and wrestling, like classic male costumes but UHG (Huntress used

No one can stop me now from writing my Gilmore Girls fanfic where Paris starts grave robbing. She's determined to win the science fair this year, dammit!

I've always found that line chilling - I'm so excited to get there. Plus (SPOILERS) that episode has Demona gleefully killing a bunch of people - yay, kid's show!

I'm saving Katee Sackhoff for my fantasy-cast of Power Girl.

"City of Stone" is my favorite, I'm so excited!

I'm so excited to see this being reviewed. I watched the whole series as a kid and I loved it (it was extra exciting because all the reruns were on at 10 and 10:30, and I haggled with my mother to push my bedtime back a whole hour so I could watch it). I've recently been rewatching the whole thing with my friend

I feel like LSP was created to A) have fun with that voice and B) explore the thinking of psychology of teenage girls like that. Her and Ice King are incredibly similar in their loneliness and delusions. I love that her/his epiphany is the only way to defeat parental control is through weaponized apathy (LSP
