I think there's ways to make it happen with batteries or generators. There might have to be new weight limits on checked luggage but I'm ok with that because I never pack very heavy anyway.

My Mom, Grandma and other people in my family who are not very computer literate do this as well. It's extremely annoying. I tried to explain to them that it's the equivalent of yelling on the internet or e-mail. They don't understand.
