Right? I’ve ALWAYS loathed the Archie comics and loved Waid’s work on The Green Hornet comics.

I’m going to give this a whirl.

The farting, however, is just the funny hook to a touching, odd story about life, friendship, and love.

You know what I’d give my-eye teeth to see... a documentary about the people who wrote and made comics. ANYTHING on par with Sean Howe’s Untold History of Marvel or Gerald Jones’s Men of Tomorrow.

Well I did like the swirly logo until you brought that up.

I think we disagree on certain definitions of what counts as appropriation/colonialist dickery. But all in all, I think we’re on the same page, yeah.

Oh my absolute favorite part of this is all of the admitted Natives, who disagree with Squish, currently languishing in the grays.


Oh it’s still a problem. Black music—-soul, funk, blues or hip hop— is as Americana as it gets. And yet we still refuse, stubbornly, to have any conversation or personal inventory, about race in this country.
