I'm totally with you on the rushed ending of this first season. But from what I've read, it would seem DiMartino and Konietzko had a larger subplot they wanted to do but didn't get enough episodes to do the first time. They've admitted that this new bounty of seasons will let them take that idea on.

Slightly spoilery information on the upcoming seasons can be found here and speculative character names can be found here.

The cut of their bangs is similar. But that's about it.

With three more books said to follow Book 1, odds are good they'll have plenty of episodes to build and land a new plot with.

I disagree. They've been telegraphing almost from the start that Walt is going to get darker and more depraved and that it's not going to end in roses like his defeat over Gus.

It was made pretty clear Ted Beneke is either dead or severely injured.

Nope. Sorry. Not about to agree to that. It's a public forum and I'll take your comments as they come.

Why would you? None of the douchey things you have a tendency towards doing—-such as smug condescension and the haughty belief that everyone you engage in discourse with are either idiots and fools—-qualify as douchey material in your book.

I believe it.

That Borg costume is pretty bad-ass.

Just to clarify, this didn't actually happen in real life. It was an SNL skit in the 80s.

The world may never know.

Funny. I don't believe I've said one way or the other what I think about the Nolan films. You're welcome to quote where I have.

Well... let me break it down for you, since commenting on a public forum seems to be a new and frightening thing for you...

I think unfortunately you're confusing curiosity for depth with 'a chase'. But whatever strokes your ego, champ. I certainly can't discuss anything without substance to engage with. *shrugs*

So The Avengers using a trite and lazy cliche (hackneyed boilerplate that even you can't argue with) is in your estimation a forgivable feature of the film's great qualities.

So in what way do you feel the Nolan trilogy hasn't met these conditions?

Commenting on the style of Nolan's Batman films would be one thing... but that's not what you're doing. You've already condemned this movie with surety that it won't be 'as good as it could be', that it won't be a 'Batman film', that it won't be Avengers level quality (which I'm guessing means it will be missing rapid

How are you able to do that? Render a verdict on a movie you've yet to have seen?
