Trying to fight toxic, selfish behavior with more toxic behavior does not help anyone. Why are you calling gaming a hellhole?

Jason, don’t listen to the haters on Twitter. Your work is solid. You’re helping shed light on topics most people hate to think about because it makes them question their beliefs. Don’t let that discourage you.

My relationship with Nintendo tends to lean more on the hate than love side because let’s face it—the DS and 3DS had more online features for free than the Switch ever has and probably ever will have—but it’s hard to hate them when I think back to what got me into gaming.

I don’t think I’d be playing games today

More of this. Fewer autoplaying videos that wake up any neighbor within a mile radius. Thank ye.

In the late 90s, I would either use text chat only and people would assume I was also some twentysomething who could somehow afford a PC...or in the early days of Xbox Live, my voice was so low and monotone people would either ask “dude how old are you?” incredulously as if age is a defining factor of whether someone

I wanna play the old Tie Fighter someday...need a hotas and a whole lot of patience first.

It’s because...if you know the story behind how those games were made, it was because the exact right people got together and were persuasive enough to get it made at that specific point in time. Getting a game with voice actors like that and that many set piece levels and multiplayer support and all that...

The AAA

Easter eggs are neat, but can we please get a Splinter Cell reboot? Does anyone remember how popular the multiplayer in Chaos Theory was? I was on xlink kai last night trying to find people to play it with and the UI is so cumbersome that I couldn’t even tell whether I was looking in the right place.

Any indies making

He didn’t fail. He did something most people could never do no matter how much time they put in and he shared it with the world. Now let’s just hope he turns out to not become a misogynist egomaniac once he’s internet famous.

If Koffing and Drowzee and Haunter and all the GOTH Pokemon aren’t in this thing, I’m--well, I’ll end up seeing it because there will be so many gifs that eventually I will have seen every frame.

I think this is a good idea, and maybe it should even go further. (This is from someone who used to trade Pokemon via link cable during lunch.) I see women older than my mom on the bus playing it and missing their bus stop and then holding up the bus because they don’t know where they are and they have to ask the bus

You know, I was gonna make a snarky comment about how your comma usage is questionable, but fuck it. Welcome. I’ll be the dude writing short novels in the comments.

P.S.: If you wanna be cool, play SpyParty.

Hey......I wear pants when I’m at home, too....unless it’s too damn hot.

It’s often the underdogs or the ones who deserved to be nominated that have the deeper messages. Everyone loves Home Alone but not many people still watch A Christmas Story every year.

A lot of people are dismissive of old movies, especially if they are black and white.

*SPOILERS FOR The Apartment*

I watched The Apartment a year or two ago. I wasn’t expecting much—saw it ranked highly on a list. The writing was on point from the first scene. The acting was incredible. That scene with the gunshot (or

Mine is with Chevy Chase...but Sigourney Weaver is also on the same day so balances out...but then Matt Damon tips it back into FML.

Holy shit, #14 is so good. Someone go spray paint that on the offices of CD Projekt.

I like it because I really like the gameplay of Titanfall, but I don’t think I will stick with it. Yes, I am that guy who still plays Overwatch when I get a chance. I still play Halo sometimes on the Master Chief Collection. I don’t go for that dopamine high from getting a chicken dinner. I eat my chicken and then I

I like Apex Legends. I’ve played it for maybe 5 hours so far...but I like games like Firewatch and Tacoma more. If it’s a beautiful Saturday like today and I have some free time, I enjoy finishing a game in one sitting—not feeling like a have to put in X amount of hours to improve.

We love guns and we love bloody hamburgers, but how dare you try to teach my child what safe sex is.
