also agree with you here.. use the proper tool (speedy dry or kitty litter) for the job. they are made to absorb liquids and clump for easier cleanup.
high heat and a ball of aluminum foil will suffice, and you don't have to worry about animal waste that might be in the gravel.
i tried to question the validity and smartness/stupidity of an article about a month ago - the OP actually tried to tear me a new one... was sad how pathetic the "lifehack" was and how staunch he was about backing it up, when it made little sense, so i understand you point of view, and also will stand beside you…
yes, and campers know that the dirt they just rubbed on their grill wasn't just peed on an hour earlier by the local squirrel.... just use high heat and burn everything off of the grill...
i have gravel surrounding my kids' playstructure (treehouse, slide, swings...), but occasionally my two dogs like also urinate in this area. While also natural, i don't want dog piss on my grill. I'll stick to cranking the heat to burn off anything on it, no gravel for me thanks. Better yet, if you have a…
You should do one regarding cyclists on the roadway - if someone passes you - don't creep up past them at the next stop light... they already had to pass you once. and don't be mad when said driver hugs the curb so you can't pass them at the light - they are stopping you for this very reason. every other vehicle has…
i always thought it was common sense that a flashing red was to be considered a 4-way full stop. that is how it is taught in Canada - Ontario Province specifically. Not sure how the U.S operated - i'm assuming it is state-by-state, but we have graduated licencing, that takes a few years to actually get your full…
you stole my joke from one of the previous windows 10 articles...
Never heard of a yankee driver - i'll have to look it up. The reason robertson isn't as common outside of Canada, is because a stubborn Canadian invented and patented it, and then refused to licence it and never made much money off of it outside of Canada. he died and his patent ran out i believe in the '80's, which…
The reason they aren't as popular in the U.S. is because a Canadian invented and patented it and refused to licence it to big screw and tool makers in the U.S. He has since died and i believe the patent ran out a long time ago (80's maybe), but buy then, the flat and phillips were in such common use outside of Canada,…
I would disagree with the early comment on only needing 4 screw drivers. You should also have one large and one small robertson driver. or square for those who don't know the names. Maybe it's more of a Canadian thing, but the driver and screw for them are far superior to flat or phillips. I only ever use flats…
i remember only paying $15 for the upgrade from 7 to 8... $15 Canadian!
Maybe it was named 10, because 9 is gone... you know - 7 ate 9...
My point exactly - at around $20, shoe stretchers are almost guaranteed to be worth at least 1/4 the price of any new shoes... I got a nice snot-gram from the OP though for my efforts... shoe stretchers may rarely be used, but they are the proper tool for the job, and you'll never have to buy another pair again. at…
sometimes, yes, it is totally worth it to pay to have things done right/correctly. this goes for using/buying quality tools too. yes, you can buy the cheapo brand screwdriver, but when you go to use it for the third time ever and the screw head actually strips your driver piece, then yes, you should have splurged…
yes, i was basing on subsidized phones. I got my 2013 released premium level (then) phone for $0 on a 2 year plan, so it will more than likely be more economical for me to use it until it dies. However, if i had to pay the $600 price tag on the hardware first, then yes, trading up in another 16 months would be a lot…
just as an fyi - the upkeep of owning a house will keep you busy forever with diy repairs and renovations.
He totally could have gotten a good 12" closer to complete the one-upmanship. From my limited knowledge of corvettes, I believe it is near-impossible to get into the drivers seat from the passenger side....
