Thank you. I withdraw my troops suggestion.
Sure, if you want to see James Bond die.
100% agree.
Looks to me like VAR did exactly what it was supposed to on that call. You couldn’t tuck your arms in any further to try to avoid the handball than that defended did. Textbook ball to hand in my opinion, but I can see why the ref originally called a handball in a split second decision.
Pitaro was hoisted by his own Le Batard.
He didn’t ask. When you’re a star, they let you do it.
So, he’s getting into stuff that Opta has been doing for nearly 10 years now?
I’ve designed charts and graphs for sports analytics and these guys’ use of radar plots is extremely sketchy. It is fun to use visualizations to break out of the boring stat table paradigm for data, and a properly designed chart like this *could* be beautiful and descriptive. “They’re not saying, ‘Fuck Trump’, Your Highness. It’s France, my Leige, and they are saying ‘Fuck Schtroumpf’. That’s French for Smurfs. Like I’ve been saying, President Gargamel, the French are on our side!”
I would challenge this sentiment having played college soccer in one of the toughest conferences in the country. 2 of the 4 years I played, the Big West had a team in the National Championship game. UC Santa Barbara was that team. I can absolutely tell you that college soccer is the most brutal form of soccer played…
Twas a bad day to be orange.
Holy fuckballs. That guy loves cards more than Hallmark.
