I too winced at how graphic some of the violence was (particularly the skyhook and the headshots), and I do agree w/ those wanting a less violent option (such as more Stealth options or perhaps some non-lethal takedowns, as I don't think diplomacy will work: both opposing factions are practically zealots, after all)...

Every death in most of his movies is there to make up for the survival of one character: Richard Sharpe :D

Hehehe, yeah. I loved that scene.

Hehehe. The only reason I was even remotely interested in Gears 3 was because I saw that Claudia Black was lending her voice to a character.

Yeah. I kinda lost interest when they showed the change in style between Overstrike and Fuse.

Hehehe. In a similar vein, I'd like to see a Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay CRPG (or, if it's the only way it'll ever be made, MMORPG) that's "true to the license"...up to and including the hilarious critical hits result table. :D

Nice art. Makes me want a Warhammer 40,000 (or even Warhammer Fantasy) action/horror game.

Hmm. Star Wars spinoff? I'd love to see LucasArts' TIE Fighter as a movie. :)

I'm still hoping for a Homeworld 3. I'm kinda hoping that Sega gets it, so that Relic gets to work on it.

I wish the above art would mean that we're getting a Leopard 2A4 in future DLC. :D

I think folks should, in general "grow thicker skin", or whatever the proper term/expression is.

I saw some Farscape: the charging up sequence for starburst, and a Scarran dreadnought being destroyed.

I like this one. :D

hehehe. Never had a 386, I think. Started with an XT, then a 286, then skipped to 486, then Pentium MMX (Pentium 2?), then P4, then, now, a core i7-2600k.

Finally got to see 'Sanjuro' last night (been a 'fan' of Yojimbo for years, and I think it's still my favourite Kurosawa film)...awesome film. I love these old films' camera work (i.e., lack of fast cutting and obnoxious close ups to simulate speed) and how "physical" the actors are (wanna look fast? move fast).

I don't see why appreciation can't go hand-in-hand w/ constructive criticism, tho'. Oerwinde could've worded it better, but he does have a point.

Hehehe. Nice catch. :D

I guess so. I mean, he's supposed to be working closely with CD Projekt RED. Pondsmith has appeared in at least two of the short CDP conferences that were streamed some time back, plus he's posted blog entries on CDPR's Cyberpunk page.

From what I've read (blog and watched the two streams w/ Mike Pondsmith in it), it seems like they're going for an RPG that'll draw from the pen-and-paper RPG. What form that'll take, I dunno. I wouldn't mind it being an FPS/3rd-Person-Shooter, team-based strategy that's turn-based...as long as it's good and given the

Awesome film :D
