The 3DS is worth getting into at this point. I do say this as an owner of both Wii U and 3DS. If you’re on the fence about it, go with 3DS. It’s their strongest system they have and there’s a great library of games to play. I finally upgraded to the New 3DS on Black Friday since it was only $99 and it was worth it.

As a 30 something father with limited weekly gaming time, my favorite thing about the WiiU is that I don’t have to install a 40 minute update everytime I turn it on, so lack of software updates is a plus.

Rachel Maddow is the freaking best. She is so damn smart, and her show is great. I try to watch every night, and I always learn something. We’re secretly besties in my head, too.
