As a Pistons fan, I came here to make a similar comment. I’d personally take out the Bad Boys wins, since Bill, Isaiah, and Dumars are all HOFers, but the 04' team had literally one all-star (and it was almost completely based on his defense). It was also basically the last time I was happy as a Detroit sports fan. 

Honestly, I think that reinforces my point. There was half a season of build up to that, and the only real characters lost were Margaery and the High Sparrow. Tommen can be grouped in as well. Compared to similar events Season 5 and earlier (Nedd, Red Wedding, Jon’s Death, etc.), that’s pretty low stakes.

Cosigned on The Wire and also throwing in the Sopranos as a bonus. 

The successful finale hit-rate of otherwise great shows is so low that just by the numbers, it’s hard to expect this to be satisfactory.

This is the show that literally chopped the head off of the lead protagonist in the first season. It is likely that this ends badly for just about everyone.
