If committing a rule violation within the sport is the same as cheating, then that would make every single professional athlete a cheater, therefore making the label pointless. Every quarterback who’s intentionally grounded, every hockey player that’s gotten in a fight, etc.

Why would anyone on either team get a yellow? They’re even less incentivized to play offense, so I wouldn’t expect any strong tackles or effort at all.
