On one hand  I can’t stand corporate welfare but on the other hand, the Georgia legislative and executive branches are a bunch lily-livered cowards who bend over even when the NRA didn’t ask. I fell sorry for the customers in this fight.

Part of me wants Delta to pull Georgia’s card, but part of me doesn’t because the upheaval and job loss that would occur will disproportionately impact black and brown folks. Again.

I’m not sure - and I’m also not sure they’re serious - but I think New York already offered Delta a tax break if Georgia won’t deal. (Of course, I have all sorts of thoughts about all of that ...)

SERIOUSLY? You idiots are gonna fuck with Delta, a major employer, and a company whose use as Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson airport brings in a ton of people, business and money over the fact they’re no longer offering (I’m assuming, very minimal) discounts to NRA members?

She was in one of those terrible movies about a teenager being terminally ill that I saw recently while puttering around the apartment. But I watched the whole thing because I found her so charming. I didn’t recognize her and when I saw her name in the credits, I was like, “of course it’s Amandla.”

Wow... Even at her age she has more wisdom and self awareness than a nation full for Becky’s, Chad’s, and honestly, a whole bunch of her black elders too. I wish her all the success, not that she needs me to...

Damn. She is so awesome. I was wondering where she had been, and it’s good to know she is here for the long haul (and conscientiously so as well). This kind of mentality should be absorbed by all kinds of people in all manners of life.
