This is why I love sites like glassdoor. The idea that salaries should be kept private is hugely detrimental to women, especially women of color.

The only way E(I refuse to use an exclamation point) would care is if all the women who watch E(no need for that much excitement punctuation) for sewage like the Kardashians stop tuning in. People who watch E() are not helping Catt Sadler; they are enabling this situation.

He must have dedicated lawyers for this aspect of his life. Lately he’s been choosing barely twenty year old models so the power imbalance keeps them in line.

There hasn’t been a negative Hugh Jackman story this whole time, at least not one that I’ve heard. Same deal with the other hot Australian - Chris Hemsworth. They are both married, dads and fairly balanced, or so it seems.

Decent looking guy in TV industry without history of sexual deviances is probably more valuable.

I bet it’s a lot easier to find a pretty woman who can talk on TV than a decent looking guy who can do the same AND doesn’t have a shady history.

I’ve always wondered that about morning host selection as well. I imagine one of those opinion testing operations where they approach women at the mall and ask them who they would prefer, with the choices being Matt Lauer-type, homeless guy, and the high school wrestling coach who also barks his way through teaching…

Totally good for her and I hope it bothers E! just enough to consider fair pay going forward (doubtful). However I have no idea who she is and if you told me that was the red carpet person that’s been on E! for ages I would have easily believed it.
