True…?

"That massive corn component is just too big a flavour for me to work around when compared to the variety of flavours the malted barley imparts."

Oh. Can the AVC set up a differnt board then?

I haven't been back to the Trail for a few years, but I had heard that. I imagine their juice is aging somewhere in KY and might be due to hit the shelves next year.

Very? Via bitter (or smoky) experience, I have discovered that any peatiness is a deal breaker for me.

Oh yeah..the young people on my lawn…

I'll keep an eye out for it.

Interesting.

I'll allow it, but with that judicial "you're on thin ice here counselor!" aside.

"Bulleit and Woodford are an easier introduction, I think, than Jim Beam and Wild Turkey 101."

True, and if you like it, like it.

They're all good in their own ways. Four Roses has the smaller intimate vibe, whereas Beam is just massive.

CK!

That's not what I mean. If there was actual discussion about the show, and exchange of thoughts or analysis, I'd be fine with people not liking it and talking about it.

Yeah, and in the end, if you like what Brand X is selling, then have at it.

Ehh…I think Bulleit has been producing their own for a few years now, although I don't know if what's on the shelf is theirs or still MGP.

It's the new brands that are MGPing their way onto the shelves. Brands with a long history are still making their own juice.

"asked for a whisky you definitely wouldn't get bourbon."

Perhaps I'm being pedantic, but I don't get bogged down in the "e" or lack thereof (so maybe not that pedantic). I look at that as more of a color/colour thing. If we were talking about Scotch, I'd go without the "e".

And I don't say that with any kind of haughty Americanism. I know that scotch does it, and in the end, I'm ok with it.
