OK, so does that mean that you think there are only a MAXIMUM of two white, straight men on earth who are not “grade A piece[s] of trash”? Is that right - I am following your logic correctly, right?
How big is the group? And what about a group of the same size of straight black dudes? Or gay white dudes? Can you explain the difference?
“something I rarely can say about a group of straight white dudes”
Well, no, because “Justin” is a real name and is therefore funny.
Why? (Bear in mind I’m asking specifically about a film review, not an article, news item or profile piece).
Read a newspaper if you want to read the news. Should every Woody Allen film review mention his creepy personal history?
OK, fair enough, I didn’t do any further research, just read the article. You are right, and I was wrong.
They’re brighter than you are (unless you’re just being disingenuous)... clearly from the review, the “Sopranos” part is referrring to adult material; there’s certainly no mention of a “magic mafia”. You just look like you didn’t read the review and are looking for an argument?
THOSE KIDS AND THEIR DAMN BAGGY PANTS!
Thank you! (non-American here; too much depressing news about your administration at a high level for me to do further reading on more minor political characters... it’d drive me to suicide. Thanks for the context)
On the one hand, I agree with your side of the argument, on the other hand I side with the other guy’s STYLE of argument, because you come across as a dismissive asshole.

“Ben Carson is the world’s most eminent brain surgeon. Hope that clears things up for you”
Not supposed to be a put down at all - he’s a very talented guy. Just saying there’s no reason for him to have the sneering elitist attitude you suggest.
No - it’s well known that every single line of dialogue in a film is 100% reflective of the writer and / or director’s personal beliefs.
I’d like to imagine I’d have some emotional intelligence, and not be an elitist. (As you seem to suggest is his worldview).
The Boondock Saints?
Damn I wish I could recommend this twice. I’ve been reading this long thread scratching my head and wondering why everyone’s ignoring the blatantly obvious- you’re the first to mention it and make me feel sane.
