I was being facetious to make my point - I know you don’t want to give these people attention. But that, to me, is the side effect of discussions like this.

Why conflate the two? Why does there “have to be a discussion”? It seems really simple to me.

Does the length factor in for you? Like, how short does an album have to be before you say “hmmm, this is too short to qualify as truly classic; 7 minutes isn’t long enough to show sustained genius”.

To be fair, 9 out of 10 album reviews don’t mention or review the album cover. Why would you expect this to be any different?

This is absolute nonsense, and you know it. A friend of mine recently had a young man / teenager comment “nice tits” when walking past her on the streets - she gave him a strong telling off, obviously wasn’t happy about it, but she’s able to laugh about it.
