i’d say that i am not going to buy one of these because of the autotragic transmission... but i’m really just not going to buy one because i’m broke.

Is the turning circle really worse than the Focus RS’? I thought that was not the case. Can you clarify how it felt on the road when you test drove it, vs the Focus?
No, I agree, they’re very different, one is a 12 second car the other is a $40,000 drivers ed hatchback with spoilerz.
When did I say that? Lol.
In the end its still Found On Roadside Dead.
Show me on the doll where the turbo touched you...
I’m currently reading World War Z, which describes a thermobaric bomb thusly:
On the flip side, we have been waiting for a new turbocharged power plant for the STi. If they were to put it in this new car, and then have that trickle down to the STi in say, 2020, that would make sense to me.
Its going to be a 2.4 DI turbo flat 4, not sure why Tom left that out. Im guessing they will probably use this new engine in some form in the next STI as well.
Nissan is the Chrysler of Japan, so this is completely unsurprisingly to me.
I think it’s because there’s so few bad cars and so many good cars.
Haha! Obligatory.
That sounds awesome. I’d love to hear your thoughts at the 75k, 100k, 125k mile marks. I lust after this, but am concerned about how much money you have to sink into it over a car’s lifetime.
This makes 580HP. Each of the front openings has a radiator. There are two intercoolers in the back (in the rear fascia), and the side pods are intakes.
Honestly, I find the Civic Si to be dead (in the US). This is just a zombie car that does not know that there are better cars available (for 1) the same performance for less or 2) more performance for the same buck).
We’ve read your emails and dug deep into the grave—sorry, the greys—to find the most buried, most frightening…
Have you hit anyone recently?
This can’t be a coincidence...just posted on Boston CL today
Part of me is sad I sold it, but the other part is glad to be rid of the EJ255 time bomb.
> Believe it or not, there will come a time in your life when a WRX STI stops being socially acceptable, if you care about that sort of thing.
Nope.
