I prefer the 90s stuff myself, and I agree that it's better in Cantonese. But unless every mainland person I've ever talked to has been lying to me, the Mandarin dubs of his 90s films have been fairly well known, if not smash hits like the later stuff.

Some wrong reasons, like the constant item swapping, sure. But it was a dungeon that took a different approach, and the designers of the modern games could learn a lot from it. The non-linear design makes the number one puzzle simply knowing whether or not you're even in the right room. It's frustrating as hell,

The Water Temple was actually somewhat difficult, something almost no dungeon since has accomplished.

Separate but closely linked. Chow's earlier films were huge hits in the mainland as well as HK, and these days he's basically directing straight for the mainland market.

Well excuse me, Princess.

I didn't say least favorite. I said one of. I'd place it above Hail the Conquering Hero and The Sin of Harold Diddlebock, which while being better than its reputation, is clearly Sturges worst film that can still be called good. We don't speak of The Beautiful Blonde at Bashful Bend.

Sturges is my favorite director. The Lady Eve is one of my least favorites of his, though still obviously great. I think something must be wrong with me.

I would give the runner up slot in B to Brigham Young: The Movie, in which, to win a bet Jesus makes with Satan, a reincarnated Brigham Young has one week to beat his old record for number of wives. But I don't think unproduced scripts written by me were eligible for this list.

I would throw Miracle of Morgan's Creek on that list too.

Ever since seeing Audition, I've had an irrational fear of auditioning young women to secretly find a wife.

That so many men of otherwise great character love to throw around their casual disdain of Austen makes me think it might be time to bring this whole male experiment to a close. I'd kill myself first to set an example, but I love Austen. They're the one's that should led the way.

It seems to me that most people want their dog for two to four hours out of the day, but that dog has to exist twenty-four hours a day. Personally that mismatch strikes me as wrong, but I try not to be a dick about it.

I got you beat. I saw it with my mother.

Then there are the ones where it goes one layer deeper and you could have sworn that you already had that I "honestly thought he'd already been dead for several years" moment several years ago. I call that one the Kirk Douglas.

My joke answers always require thought, at least on my part. I might just be stupid though.
1. "It's Time to Party" by Andrew WK
2. "The Ballad of Big Nothing" by Elliott Smith

They gave up a few episodes before I did when it was first airing, but then they have the benefit of knowing what's coming.

Bart the Mother is the episode that finally made me give up on the show. Is it really considered one of the best of the season?

I would guess that the argument is that the Canaanites were the ones minding their own business before the Hebrews attacked, not the Philistines.

On the other hand even Dumbledore, the best the wizarding world has to offer, is portrayed as an insane venal moron. That read on the character was probably mostly unintentional in the text though.

That's ridiculous. Only Elsa is a lesbian.
