At last Honda Crosstour owners experience that sweet, sweet vindication.

dumbass.

I’m genuinely fascinated by who actually buys these things. I suppose it has the ride height that people want to see over traffic, but if you want this powertrain with slightly compromised packaging, then just get the CLS, or even the AMG GT 4-door. Those vehicles are still not exactly things of beauty, but they

Thats the only type of people I see driving these cars. They just bought the AMG version because it's the most expensive one. They don't care that is has insane power or massive brakes. Mercedes should just make a ME trime (most expensive) and cater to the people who buys these. Massive smart touch screen mirrors in

I don’t pretend to speak for all of Alabama, but on the spectrum of things to come from our state, ranging from embarrassing to proud, this one is much closer to the George Wallace end than it is to the Space Program end.

Brenda, the 51 year old recently divorced mother of two from Newport Beach has entered the chat.

I think the issue is right in the sentence of “It’s the women who are the gimmick.” No they shouldn’t be.

I could easily afford a new GTR for $195 but why would I when I got a 5,000 mile GTR in the color I wanted and the options for $135? Money left over to track it and abuse it as intended. I was told when I began my quest for a sports car to not buy anymore car than I could afford 2 of and its sound advice.

Eh, if there’s one thing I’ve learned in construction it’s that everybody has a budget. That budget may seem almost shockingly large when you’re working with high-end clients, but there’s a ceiling up there somewhere. Someone who has $90,000 to spend on a car does not necessarily have $160,000 to spend. If they did,

I love how people assume if you have some money you can just waste it. If this were a million dollar car, sure, you probably have a lot more “Ehh fuck it, buy a new one” thoughts, but for most people, $160,000 is still a lot of freaking money even if you are doing very well and if you can save half the price and still

I don't think you read the last paragraph nor the corresponding links.

With Holden shutting down Australia now has no major domestic automaker.

Agreed. It’s just so sad to read about people with such poor financial acumen that this kind of dealer behavior even exists. As a society, we do a terrible job of educating people about money/credit/savings, etc. I suppose it’s one of the main reasons poor people tend to stay poor.

I have some experience in this area. I can tell you that it’s rare for an entire dealership to be complicit in this type of thing. It’s often individual sales people using these tactics. Even if they are found out, there’s not often repercussions beyond losing employment, since what is being described here is not

Holden came up with their own muscle cars that were the equal of American ones,

My buddy laments the death of the Holden brand he has one of the few US legal LHD utes.

Embrace your inner bogan and pour out a slab in memoriam.

Also, one of these starred in the 1984 classic Romancing the Stone.

I deal a lot with the Corvette community and sports cars in general. One of the frequent questions asked is multiple owners or why sometimes early in a life a car may change owners frequently.

I honestly love Michael Collins, he’s been a hero of mine for years. I’m fascinated by the bravery it took to be the only human on the dark side of the moon, with no contact from anyone. While up there, he actually had to tell himself “ok, if things go wrong on the surface, I definitely won’t kill myself, though
