Why the complaints. I think it's cool and I just bookmarked it. You're right that if I needed this all the time I would use a dedicated and more feature rich application but this is still nice to have in a pinch if you just need to quickly compare things.

The way it sounds, you may not be able to watch movies on the plane. They aren't too clear but they keep hinting that everything is streamed from the cloud. There aren't even expansion slots to increase the 8GB memory. Sounds like if you don't have broadband wi-fi handy, it may be a useless piece of plastic.

I'm desperate to know if this is a cloud-DEPENDENT device. Is this device literally tethered to high-speed wi-fi? I travel a ton and I desperately want to know if I'll be able to play movies and other media when I don't have wi-fi, like on the plane, or for 8 hours on a bus or train? Even when available, public wi-fi

Nope. I've been using standard rabbit ears for years and enjoyed perfect, crystal clear high definition television for free. You do not need a converter if you already have an HDTV because the HDTV can already decode the HD signal.

I'm in the same boat. Bad info out there saying I lived at an address I have no association with (other than I once had Ticketmaster deliver tickets there while I was on vacation - no kiddding!). And just like you, they will not even tell me where they got this bad info from. What I want to know is how to find this

I have an invite and like what I see, but I got my invite my gmail address that I don't want top use publicly. I am waiting until I can send myself an invite at my other email address which is a Google Apps email address.

I've tried Multi-Links before and went straight back to SNAP LINKS PLUS for Firefox. MultiLinks was essentially a copy-cat of Snap Links Plus, only buggier and more annoying. I definitely recommend Snap Links Plus over Multi-Links.

I've been very happy with Chrome but FireFox is still my default browser because Chrome can't touch FireFox with a 10 foot stick when it comes to the overwhelming wealth of add-ons to customize the experience... add-ons that are can't-live-without and just not available in Chrome. When that day comes, I'll reevaluate.

Related topic: Can anybody recommend a good FREE utility specifically to compress a PDF file? I created a multipage PDF using CutePDF. It looks great but it is 10 times the file size that it really should be, possibly because it was scanned at too high a resolution. Anyway, any suggestions for compressing a PDF?

I don't see any random flight button. But I love the site. I love being able to get the view from the left or right window seats. Well done.

I've always chosen to have texting blocked on my phone. Been at least 5 years now on Verizon and I never had any trouble getting the block put on.

TweetMyJobs was a huge disappointment. On page 1 of the map of jobs available in my area, all 100 of 100 listings came from LinkedIn. I already use LinkedIn in my job search so this is nothing but a scraper.

This looks cool. There have been a dozen facebook apps to do the same thing for FB for years but I like how LinkedIn made their own official feature.

Sorry to disagree with everybody but that video was HORRIBLE. Seriously one of the worst I've ever seen. Zoom in so somebody can see anything you're doing. You've reviewed plenty of screencasting programs. I'd assume you knew how to use one. That may as well have been a radio broadcast.

I'll check this one out, but in the past I've used 10minutemail.com

I've been using it for quite a while now. It has a few quirks, but I've been very happy with it. Aside from testing I've never "boomeranged" a message back to my own inbox, simply because I've gotten use to my own workflow. But I frequently use the feature to deliver a message at a specific time. I feel it's more

This article is about me! It's exactly what I've been doing since Google Apps was first released in beta form many years ago. And it's worked great ever since. As somebody who's been doing this since day one I can't think of a single reason for people not to do this.
