I'm an old, so I can't really know how well she represents her generation, but I find it hard to believe that she represents anyone. I find her show uninteresting and unfunny. If she has something to say, I can't figure out what it is. I can only assume that I'm too old and out of touch to get it.

Am I allowed to say that I'm not attracted to blondes or redheads? Or really muscular men? Because I'm not. For me, attraction is mostly physical, and there's a narrow physical type that I'm attracted to, even within my own race. I don't think there's anything racist or prejudiced about it.

I wasn't excluding men from my statement. I realize that many people need to make these trade-offs in order to live decently, and that is what I think is fucked up.

What kind of fucked world do we live in that we have to worry so much about our career track that we're afraid to put the needs of our family first? I don't have kids and don't want them, and even I am bothered by this mindset. Work shouldn't be so important, unless someone is working on the cure for cancer.

When I was 7, not only was I walking all over town by myself, but my mother would send me to the store to buy her cigarettes. I'm so glad I'm not a kid growing up today with a helicopter mom cramping my style.
