“The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) and Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) were deleted. Usually this is done so there are fewer parts to break, but this is often illegal to do.”

He was trying to say he was too important to let some stupid speeding ticket interfere with giving Mrs. Jones some botox. It was a power play. I hope he gets his drivers license AND his medical license suspended for a while for that stunt.  He seems too reckless for either.

What is not intuitive for an automotive journalist doing a review over a few days becomes intuitive for actual owners over a few weeks of acclamation.

It’s okay, the bad truck can’t hurt you. Seriously though, it’s fine. It doesn’t look “evil” or “mean” or “stupid. It’s an oddly proportioned truck that has the face of a shrunken school bus. There’s really no need for the hyperbole.

Well, the level of glee from the people on the left over Rush Limbaugh’s death wasn’t exactly good look either.

Well said. The hive loves to mock and belittle anyone famous who has any kind of personal failure. It seems we’ve collectively become a bunch of sanctimonious assholes.

Still find the whole narrative around Tiger a weird indication of how whack and puritan our society is becoming. That whole documentary was like, ‘Tiger, the sad tragic story, his great demise.’ I mean – he’s only the greatest golfer possibly in the history of the sport, an unbelievable success story (and in the face

I haven’t been following the Max debacle but among my friend that do fly it, none of them are worried, they had the proper training prior to the aircraft and now have again been trained with an additional simulator session for the specific issue

This incident could have had a much worse ending”

(Airline pilot here if you have questions) Well, yes this is true, although trivially true of any incident. The danger shown here is that, unlike an engine failure which is a rather benign problem as long as it’s handled properly, the biggest threat is damage to

Teams did do different strategies in the stages. Notice Bell stayed out at the end of the first? Others mixed it up too. My main complaint is the laps counting around the stages. You lose 4? laps each stage that aren’t raced. Throw the green checkered-and stop counting the laps until the start back up again.

I agree on all counts, but NASCAR is way too stupid to follow any of these suggestions.

This is not an either-or situation. I think the right solution is a 200mi BEV with a very clean ICE range extender. If you add something like this eFuel to power the range extender then there is very little environmental penalty to letting people have a vehicle that can be both 100% electric for daily commutes but

YouTube: farm tractor reviews

Yes and no. JD is the largest, but there are other brands of tractors out there. Trouble is, when everyone in the industry is doing the same damn thing, that doesn’t help much.

That pickup was the result of a shady scheme that Mahindra wanted nothing to do with, but got involved to save its own skin.

Long time lurker but I just had to make an account tonight to post this hot take:

This truck sat for 17-16 years with Loren rotting away, life gets in the way but at no point could anyone be bothered to.... get the title fixed ...search for a radio on ebay ...seal off the hole in the floor ????

Pro tip to anyone who goes to Vegas for work, a day trip to Death Valley is a refreshing breath of fresh air. Losing cell signal and then radio signal was welcomed after being on the strip. Artists Drive road was actually fun and south of badwater there was no one.

Didn’t know Nevada looked like the center of Iceland. And it also has hot springs. The US is really amazing for the diverse environment available.

Having lived in Nevada as a kid, I’m going with Tonopah as the actual middle of nowhere. What a shock it must have been to my mother, who’d never lived outside Michigan in a mid sized city, until my AF dad was stationed at Tonopah.
