How the heck are people able to find this stuff?

Dually of the same era? GM wasn’t making duallies until 1973 when they came out with the squarebody dually. Early duallies were more or less just stepside fender mounted on the outside of a fleetsided bed and looks nothing like this.
Small back window was ‘67 only, which had the big window available as an optional extra. GM did away with it and decided to have the “premium” big window standard going forward.
The round taillights are perfection on a perfect car. And I’m not saying the split grille is bad, it is better than the lipstick-like front end of the 70; but it is certainly not as good as the full width grill in the 68. Sorry to say it, but they got it right the first year.
That bed trunk is awesome 99.9% of the time, but it forced Honda to have a really compromised spare tire location. So if you’re using your bed and get a flat while it’s full of something like gravel, mulch, any big furniture/appliance, etc; you’re not gonna have a good time sitting on the side of the road emptying out…
Non-laggy infotainment. It doesn’t matter how well laid out the system is, what actual features it has, how big and shiny the screen is, etc; if it’s laggy it SUCKS. To be honest, I don’t think this is underappreciated with enthusiasts, but it must be by actual car companies because there are surprisingly so many…
I’ve heard from multiple people that these might be the biggest case of “don’t meet your heros” in terms of how boring soulless the car is to actually drive compared to how utterly insane the car appears. Which I guess is also a backhanded compliment because Porsche was able to put such incredible performance in such…
190E is an engineering marvel. It truly is a compact S class in terms of refinement and quality. If you get the 2.3 it’s also an amazing little sports sedan that isn’t too hard to find for a fraction of the price of an E30 M3, with even better and rarer options like the 2.5 or the very rare Evos and 3.2 AMG for those…
Have you been to a Kia dealer? Kia dealers are the reason those cars aren’t selling, not Kia.
Doesn’t Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, etc all have similar player/coach churn rate as US sports team while all operating in areas with labor laws more likely to be inline with what F1 operates under?
I’m just surprised enough people are buying Buick’s that GM thinks they can up the price another $1500. I get that on something like an Escalade or Yukon are hot enough to offer expensive and mandatory optional items; I’m sure a ton of idiots wont even notice that line item even. But on a Buick? Really?
I4 from a Cayman/Boxter? You mean flat 4 that is probably way too wide to fit in the front of a Mecan so they couldn’t use it if they wanted to?
6th gen Taurus. Even as a free company car, with free gas, I absolutely hated that thing. It is HUGE, but has an extremely cramped interior; I swear that car is 40% trunk space. The high sill lines also made for general poor visibility. Also, if you got any model besides the SHO, it was also underpowered, underbraked,…
I’d hope they could improve on it after 15 years and all.
The ID.4 is not really any better equipped. Look at the base Tiguan S vs base ID.4 Standard since it’s the easiest to do. It’s pretty much a tit for tat across the board. The only real feature the ID.4 has is auto climate control and adaptive cruise control.
I’d argue it isn’t cost competitive to gas vehicles in its class. Look at the CX5, Tiguan, CRV, Rav4, etc. All can be had for substantially less even with the tax credit (assuming you qualify for the full $7500). 200 mile range is a big compromise to make, especially considering that range is probably more like 140 …
It’s also by far, the most useable and “normal” Lamborghini ever. I mean, it’s built on a VW groups corporate MLB Evo platform and uses a high output version of VW groups corporate 4.0L V8. Why is everyone so surprised that the best selling Lambo is actually a angularly styled Q7/Cayenne in drag? Thats all a feature,…
Yup, all for like ~$31k too if you want fullsize or ~$25k for midsize which is probably more capable than the older fullsizers that OP claims are so much better.
I know. I hate these complaints. Anyone who wants to can try taking my 50+ year old truck and do truck things and they will very quickly learn it isn’t as good as a modern truck at doing almost ANYTHING including “work” stuff. Literally the only thing the old truck is better at is ease of reaching over the bedside and…
