She doesn’t want to be the “bitch” who “overacts” and ruins it for everyone. We’ve all been there.

TOTALLY agree with you, but I wanted to add an element about how there is a layer between these “artists” and the audience, and that’s media companies and executives. They need to also stop promoting bad guys.

There are so many talented, amazing people in this world. We don’t *need* Louis CK. We don’t *need* Woody Allen. Allowing them to continue making art takes up space other, non-asshole people could have, and it absolutely validates them. Not to mention what it must feel like as a victim of these men to watch them

Oh, please. I’d much prefer it if white women were clear that they had white privilege, which is what Michelle Wolf specifically did in one of her last appearances on the Nightly Show. You know what happens when white women are “fine” with being mistaken for black?

Dude, I really don’t think this is about race here... if you can’t see how people immediately assuming her race can be problematic for her (again, as the original poster had, and now you’re assuming some sort of weird racist anger she has), I’m sorry.

I’m really conflicted about this one. Clearly the writer is Minnesotan, as she passive aggressively sat and drink 1/3 of the strange tasting drink instead of asking the server if there was something wrong with it. But she also orders a drink with cayenne, which no self respecting Minnesotan would ever do.

Apparently not e-fucking-nuff of them. One of my buddies, a man I thought was ... not like this ... posted this today. I’ve been going back and forth with him all day trying to spell out all that is wrong with this but I am sick of being patient now and ready to unfriend his ass.

No more steaks and pretzels AND no more rape? What does little Brock have to live for at this point?

I hated this book. I know, that’s not allowed. But this book wasn’t really about “single” women. It was mostly about women who were partnered with men, but chose not to get married. They were still coupled.

Yup. That always gives it away..

Because watching Mad Max is “doing something about it.”

1) These aren’t original thoughts or particularly useful ones. 2) Your girlfriend is not a placeholder for “all women” and does not reflect the views of all women. Thanks for playing.

Uh this gender stertoryping is wrong in both cases.

yo. i give you a solid 7.9/10 for this trolling cuz you wrote your damn dissertation. damn son. you fucking went for it.

Puh-lease. When my ex got married I only briefly turned my mind to that poor, poor girl and her impending sexual dissatisfaction. Then I went back to being awesome.

Sounds nice — except for when you want all the spinach artichoke dip and you don’t like the way the other person exists.

I continue to be amazed by how many forms addiction takes. Hers is tanning, mine is candy. Whoever is free of addiction is a kind of miracle angel seraph unicorn to me.
