It's pretty easy, and often understandable, to reflexively snark about any celebrity whose fanbase claims loudly and often that said celebrity is just like the rest of us.

Same. Decent mix of blockbusters, thoughtful movies that also found commercial success, and critical darlings/art house titles. Just looking at the Top 20 - if I'd made my own for the same time frame before seeing any of this list, 12 of this set would probably have made it.

This list did cover a ton of my favorites - many ranked much higher or lower than I'd have placed them, but that's inevitable.
