That’s what I’m really enjoying about this game. Almost every play session feels “productive,” and like I’ve accomplished something even if it was just finding a new catacomb and beating it with some summoned help. :) 

Will Kotaku be covering some of the harassment devs have been facing from some of the fanbase because of this issue? I had this issue with Bloodborne when it was PS+. I had to uninstall my disc version and then download it from the PSN so that I could run it without a disc. This article is validating. I’m playing multiple RPGs right now, and they all scratch a different gaming or narrative itch, and I love it. I’d like to get to the ends as well, but if I don’t, that’s ok. I can just watch the story beats on youtube!

As someone who worked in games, it’s not that easy. Transitioning into another field is hard.

I worked for an EA studio that was eventually shut down and this sounds like exactly what happened to us in the year that led up to it. :/

Thanks to Kotaku for hosting this piece. I was laid off by EA two years ago and am still dealing with the issues it caused as the game industry in my location has declined and makes seeking work especially hard (and no, moving elsewhere is not an easily managed option currently).

I love his music, and have seen him a few times at festivals. He’s great on stage, but God, he is a dick and troll. And as someone who’s gay who’s active in LGBT EDM groups, it’s pretty sad seeing him use this language.
