AMC's thing seems to be commissioning spin-offs for all their successful shows.

I was really worried when I found out about the major change in shooting location, but they pulled it off seamlessly.

I wouldn't be surprised if they stick with the whole "jumping between present day and flashbacks" format for the entire season.

Hood has a lot more pain than just losing Job! I'm amazed he isn't just a sentient pile of hair at this point.

Breaking Bad, Mad Men and The Sopranos certainly spring to mind here. Actually, most shows on cable networks (other than Showtime, of course) that ended by means other than cancellation, barring a few exceptions.

Damn, there were a lot of things I didn't see coming here. From opening on Brock to the reveal of Rebecca Bowman's death, the flashback with Dalton, and almost everything in between, this was definitely a disorienting return - albeit a very, very welcome one. Few shows can kill off one of my favourite characters

It was a bit of both - they'd made negotiations with the network as to when the show would end and exactly how many episodes it would entail, though the main reason the writers did so was to help them better structure the series (the deal was made around the very obviously padded-out season 3 story arc where the

Yeah, I always assumed the show would end with Proctor going down and Rebecca taking over his empire. I definitely didn't see this one coming.

To be honest, I hadn't even heard of The Purge until that Rick & Morty episode.

Holy shit, I never expected to see a review for this on The AV Club.

But Maths is a work of genius!

Google doesn't list a single result for "Songs Played On The Internet For You" as a complete phrase, so I doubt it. 'Tis a neat acronym, whoever came up with it, but I think there'd definitely be a few mentions of it online if that were the case.

I decided to give this show another shot, and got about 10 minutes through the second episode before I just couldn't take anymore. I really don't understand how a show can be this bad. The whole thing is just "main character arbitrarily rides his bike through Venice, conveniently runs into whoever the plot needs him

Crank, Machete, Zombieland, Shoot 'Em Up and Planet Terror are all excellent hangover films.

Hey, not all resurrections can be as obvious and highly demanded as Fuller House.

This only got a B?! This episode made me laugh far harder (and more frequently) than the show usually does - everyone was in excellent form all around. A definite A from me.

The Lookwell pilot is utterly hilarious, and everybody needs to watch it.

I couldn't believe how many scenes/moments in this episode began with two characters just happening to run into each other at the right time. I don't know much about LA, but Venice can't possibly be that small, right?

People ironically love BoJack Horseman? It has a pretty hugely devoted following on this site (and is probably my favourite show currently in production).

The only laugh this got out of me was "Free Coffee" - the rest of the episode, I was just bored. This was really disappointing.
