@RyanB: No, I know exactly when I look like shit, and immediately stop myself from hitting on any female other than the SO. Because I know at that point, I'll still get laid, and she'll still respect me in the morning.

@haguenite: That might not have been the specific point of the study, and therefore not included in the results?

Alshcohol can be an effecshive soshial lubriansh.

@bonsaiiiiii: I had one attack me in my uncle's back yard next to the golf course as a child. As in, it was chasing me and tried to bite me. When it tried to bite my sister I'd had it, and kicked it in the beak. I didn't like having to do it, but it was going to bite her and she didn't know to run.

This thread is a total downer. =)

@hortense: I'd offer to read the tag for you, but apparently the post-it note used for the label fell off.

@Xavoc: Me fail english? That's unpossible!

@Charlotte Corday: Well, the best option in that scenario is just to not be there in the first place. Barring that, yeah, running away whenever you can is a good idea. I had someone try to mug me a few months ago, and it made me so angry I started screaming at them that they had better back away before I really hurt

@rednrowdy: Not really a valig argument in how often it happens to women vs men.

@nellicat: Yeah, but what happened for him to get that way in the first place?

@Charlotte Corday: Not really, you just need to know where to hit the person once you have them on the ground.

You know, I can't say that I haven't feel angry at my ex-wife at times for playing games, but at the angriest I've ever been, I've really just wanted her to go the hell away.

@Notes from the underwhelmed: I often wonder if we don't have some screwed up social aspects making us miserable, or if we've somehow created a society in which being miserable at times isn't acceptable, and therefore we're expected to self medicate.

Is that guy's underwear from undergear.com??

@ceejeemcbeegee (AKA!): Now could you please just sex him up and end his dry spell? It's breaking our hearts to see him suffering like this. Hehe

@Megan Carpentier: No problem, it's hard to make that call when your entire point of view is so skewed out of alignment especially if it's your first time ever talking to a therapist.

@Megan Carpentier: And don't be afraid to change therapists if you feel one isn't going to work for you. There is more than one way to heal, you need to find the right person using the right method for you.

@Miss-Pringle: Well, I'm not saying are. Just the ones I've met... I haven't met a transgendered person that wasn't still just as screwed up after their surgery as before. Just different issues.

I think the most romantic thing I've done was flay to DC with 2 hours notice on the 4th of July just to give an ex gf a hug that she desperately needed and watch the fireworks with her. Missed the fireworks due to delays, still gave her a hug.

No Colbert report breakdown? It was great.
