@Kali Mama: Now now, the sad and lonely male needing nookie for medical purposes is a myth!

@SarahMC: You stated it was not a punishment to tell an infertile woman that she couldn't have a newborn. I'm pretty sure the infertile woman would disagree with you if she really wanted to have a child of her own.

@SarahMC: Nobody has a right to reproduce? Isn't that what the newborn is, their child, their baby, that they have a right to pursue having? There's a reason why our government can't order a man or woman to be sterilized... The woman's eggs are perfectly good, there's just issues with her uterus.

@clevernamehere: I'm never off of the clock either. My job requires me to be on-call 24/7. Childbirth is basically damaging to a woman's body. It is traumatic. They can die doing it.

@SarahMC: They have been oppressed in what services in the military they can apply for. They have been oppressed in mining. They have been oppressed in fishing. They have been oppresed in quite a few dangerous professions.

@clevernamehere: And I limited it to women, because it was in direct response to the statement of, "I hear you, but I'm the type who doesn't think a woman's pussy should be used by a bunch of paying strangers." Which didn't cover whether ot was OK for a man to sell his services. Thus why I wasn't sexually vague in

@clevernamehere: So, a government body couldn't set standards for such services a prostitute could provide so that it didn't become coercive?

@Gingerlime: And I have already pointed out that economic opportuniteis for women or men who are on welfare are already sorely lacking or not available at all depending on the state you live in, and the services available at the offices near you.

@Gingerlime: Sorry, I just believe that people should be able to make educated choices regarding their lives and their health. This includes access to abortion, being able to sell one's body, and even choose to end their lives.

@Gingerlime: No, it doesn't, but it also doesn't help prostitutes get off of, or stay off of drugs. It doesn't help prevent the spread of disease. It doesn't do a lot of things.

@clevernamehere: I see, so it's OK for a woman to sell her body as a surrogate mother, even though there are inherent health risks? Or, a woman allowing her eggs to be harvested by taking dangerous medications? Or, a woman being a stuntperson for a movie? Maybe she shouldn't work in a factory that produces microwave

@bigleggedwoman: I can see it now. I'll have ones that say Slut on them, and wake up only to find I've passed out forehead first on them for the night...

@Gingerlime: But, isn't that kind of like being anti-abortion? You're telling a woman what she can and cannot do with her body?

What's with the finding emo shirt he's wearing?

I think I'm just going to start doing this on the cheap. I don't have to pay someone to embroider a set of keys into my sheets, I can just wear jeans to bed and sleep on my right side at night. Voila! I know exactly which pocket my keys are supposed to go in to every day when I crawl out of the shower still bleary

@Gingerlime: Viagra isn't meant to be used on a daily basis. It has a lot of bad side effects.

@Gingerlime: That's a little more difficult really. I hate having to vacuum in the nude. Especially during winter with that static electricity and *zap* Yipe!

@SarahMC: I can see it now, "Oh yes! Show me how you enforce the patriarchy! Yes! Yes! Yes! Drive your mysoginy home! Aww, it's OK baby, it happens to every men sometimes."

@Trashtastic Is Disillusioned: No, I'm just generally a lot more diplomatic about things than many people. I honestly have a hard time attributing things to malice, that are more easily attributed to stupidity.
