It's long been a fascination how the career choices actors and their handlers make determines the impact they have in the cultural firmament. I sometimes wonder if The Abyss had been a huge success, would Ed Harris have wound up in the same movie-star league as Ford, Gibson, Cruise, etc.

Ditto. I don't know how anyone nowadays could nail the tone of that movie; it was simultaneously reverential and satiric, and I'm hard-pressed to think of any recent film or filmmaker that hits such a tricky bullseye. It's probably best they just do a new historical docudrama and leave out the Wolfe connection.

To be that guy: 250 thousand.

Dueling sets of Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon vs Jack Klugman and Tony Randall zombies WOULD be pretty funny, now that I think about it.

They have doughnuts
Doughnuts made of edible oil
I don't like doughnuts
They don't have bagels
I don't want to go to Toronto

ALL the Oscar contenders? Walter Matthau and Jack Klugman have risen from the grave?

For Our Re-reconsideration

The AV Club, 2017: "…Joe Dirt, which is a garbage film you do not need to watch"
The AV Club, 2019: "Why Joe Dirt is actually way cooler than you remember"

I thought that warning applied only if kids ate them.

For Our Consideration: How Elmore's brother Bernstein Leonard inverted the American musical with Story Side West.

Well, as long as my ordering from the children's menu isn't harmful to me, then whatever.

Of course, this will lead to the inevitable Stars on Ice Presents: The Twilight Zone`s Ice-Mare at 20,000 Feet!

Yes. I'm sure everything will be fine. Just fine.

It's basically now an intellectual properties holding and licensing company. I'm assuming the Ataribox's fate rests upon how much hype it can generate before they actually put it to crowdfunding.
