The Pixel phones as products(generally speaking) yes are quite good. But in terms of worldwide sales, they’re pretty dismal. You still can’t get a Pixel Phone in many areas of the world where you can get a Samsung or Apple device.

The plumbing and technology seems sound enough...well, for the features that are fully developed and working, anyways.

I think it all comes down to - as long as the romance feature within the game meaningfully advances the story or adds something to it - then sure, it makes sense why there are romantic options, and reasons for the character to pursue one romantic interest over the other, for example.
