The article already lists all the ways the film is different from what’s going on today - it’s fiction, after all. But it is trying to establish some common points between what’s happening today and in the film. I don’t disagree with those points(few as they are).

You made an interesting point. I think this is more a case of something far more salacious and bigger which overtook the whole Disrespect thing. I don’t think personally that media heads got together and said “OK Disrespect’s in trouble, let’s quickly get the pervy gamer news out to cover him”.

Which still doesn’t hold water, because starting up a brand new streaming platform isn’t that easy and simple, no matter how many big superstar streamers you have on there.

That kinda reminds me of the Nexus card.

This reply is weeks late(sorry about that), but I just felt compelled to comment in. The whole “smelee” thing on smelly players, if I’m not mistaken, some venues have taken a zero tolerance approach on players who arrive so stinky that it has the potential to pollute an entire corner of the room.

That’s a great song. I’m gonna listen to it right now.

It’s too late now, but from the very beginning tournaments should have had the extremely very basic rule that to attend(whether competing or not) you needed to be 18 and over.

One thing is certain. In that original Smash commentary, where they had this big storyline about the big Nintendo refusing to support the Smash community and how they were all heroes for standing up to the big bad corporation.

I’m likewise blown away, that this specific bar where the weekly game nights were held, even allowed anyone in who was not of legal drinking age.

So typical to blame the parents - when in reality, when you’re of that age...late teen to young adult, far more likely you’d be rolling your eyes at your parents, who you deem as completely out of touch of what you’re into, don’t understand a thing, and most importantly can’t possibly understand you.

It’s not going to be anywhere near as dramatic as “shutting it down”.

Funny my comment was deleted or stay in the greys but it turns out that Nintendo’s skepticism was right on the money.

What we can expect from this as fallout:

I just think we’re getting to the place(very rapidly) that soon unless every single culture in the game can represented by each other race - any exclusion from one, means a slight to the other.

That’s the key. You already can. But how user friendly is it to a non-techie user?

I thought the only time you ever point a gun at someone, is to shoot them. Otherwise the gun should not even enter the equation. I trust she has a carry permit(or the State she’s in, permits concealed carry without permit?)

People have always insisted to me that firearms training states that if you are ever to point a gun at someone it is to shoot them in one fluid motion.

hmm free to play...RPGs? Do you mean titles such as FF Brave Exvius?

This is the first time I’ve even heard of this game.

So once again we are faced with the whole “can you separate the art from the artist?”
