Very similar situation. Resist. People getting fed Fox News are not rational, and family relationships are too important to sacrifice. Better to talk about other stuff and let your son enjoy his grandparents without political tension.

This is my fondest wish for this upcoming election: no more uncontested races. Even if we win a majority they’ve got hundreds of districts where they don’t have to fight. If we can give them a god damn run for their money this time we’d send a real message.
