A couple thoughts, yes generally. For instance I live in Arizona which is traditionally just to the right of Atilla the Hun. However, we do have competitive congressional districts (3 of 9). Of those Dems hold 2 and traditionally money and other resources pours into those 3 races. As a result Dems hold 4 of AZ’s 9…

My Dad & I happened to be in the same city at the same time a while back on work trips.
