1. I think it’s important for women to run and win and I regularly support both Emily’s List and our local version Arizona’s List.

I fell down a flight of stairs when I was newly pregnant with my oldest (everyone was fine!). I went into work, immediately called my OB’s office who were all get in here NOW. I hadn’t told my boss yet, so when I said sorry I have to leave right away and get to the Dr. reasonably questioned it. When I told her I was

Nothing about this year’s theme was geared towards the male gaze. Not that it stopped some attendees...

And for what it’s worth a friend of mine is a (liberal feminist) pastor in KC and in response to this her congregation is going to take in more troops. And buy more cookies.

There’s still time!

As the mother of an asthmatic I would like him to feel what my kid does. I’m happy to help with that.

Two time reigning queen of the Met Gala, everyone else should just pack it up & go home.

They needed to bring the (nutty super right wing) freedom caucus on board to get it out of the house. This one is equally (more?) shitty. Call your reps it’s expected to come to a vote this week.

Go interesting Niki (not naked)!

She was my first thought for who could really do this justice. Second was Cate Blanchett, though then I realized Solange could be epic.

I go to way too many fundraisers and “galas”, though nothing even approaching this level. There is usually a cocktail hour for drinks/mingling. Then a program of some sort, usually a speaker or two and dinner then maybe an auction or if you’re lucky some music.

If there is any sort of silver lining I am glad to be alive to witness a resistance led by librarians, park rangers, and other nerds.

Let them figure it out. It might take a bit but they’ll find a way to live together.

Mine have done this a dozen times. It’s gotten to the point where the moms in our condo complex have an understanding where all kids are lectured by everyone when they do not respond and other kids are dispatched to find the missing in their “hiding places”.

I have adolescent boys and they LOVE Austin Powers, we finally started sending them to our dentist and not the fancy pediatric one because it was just easier. If they had your kid’s dentist there may have been protest.

Congrats! I eloped and it was one of the best decisions ever. 15 years later absolutely no regrets.

Praying for you & your little girl. I can’t imagine what you’re going through. Much love from an internet stranger.
