Southwest is also the only airline I’ve flown that requires ID(birth certificate, passport, etc) for an infant travelling with you. Neither Delta nor American requires this.

Yep, had to bring my kids birth certificates along when I was travelling alone with them until I updated my passport to reflect my husband’s last name. It’s to prevent child trafficking.
