This 2015 Model S just came in last week with 236,00 miles on it! Replaced the PPF, polished, and re-coated it. Looked brand new inside and out! Range was at 190 miles on the display but didn’t see what percentage the battery was at.

Hmm... A single politician, deciding unilaterally what an entire industry can or cannot produce, with no regard to the actual market conditions?
Analysts predict widespread EV adoption will continue to develop regardless of Donald Trump’s actions
Oops! You thought you were making your comment over at FOX “News” but you had the wrong tab open, right?
Do you think Joe Biden invented the electric car?
If the starting point is 72%, then their definition of range must be “highway range”. Further evidence to support the idea EVs should just have a reported highway range and city range, instead of a confusing jumble of the two.
Which, as far as degradation goes, seems pretty fuckin’ good. That means it retains ~91% (Model Y) or ~89% (Model 3) of original range performance. But again, this sounds good, but without comparing it to other manufacturers and models it’s hard to conclusively say.
The link in the article has the graphs. Model Y starts out with 70% EPA range brand new and falls to 64% after 3 years and then it’s stable for year 4, remaining at 64%. Model 3 is the same but it starts out at 72% EPA range and stabilizes around 64%.
What a weird metric. They were never at 100% of EPA range because Tesla apparently is able to score real well with the EPA test, but does horribly in real life. So saying they only achieve 64% of that is... well, kind of meaningless as far of “degradation” claims go. Give us what they actually started out with. Did…
The idle and run time on the motor have to be huge. 39K miles on the tarmac where the speed limit is 20 mph max.
Just about every damn Alfa Romeo I’ve ever owned (7 total) but its a draw between my GTV6 and my Giulia Super. I actually sold the GTV6 to get the Super..... Between 1992 and 1999 I had a 3 GTV’s, the GTV6, the Super and 2 Milanos (platinum & Verde). Anyone of them in today’s market even in their DD condition would…
Not many places in the US where you can park in BFE any more. Everything is fenced off as private property or government land. Instead, you will be in a Kampground with 50 other RVs, all with TVs and stereos going.
I am right there with you. Add to that your “camping” is sitting in what is essentially a trailer park and you kind of lose me pretty quickly. If I wanted to camp, I’ll take a tent and sleep in the woods. If I want to go somewhere, give me a hotel with some amenities or even an Air BnB or VRBO.
RVs are sold on price and features/gizmos/bells/whistles to people who think they’ll be using them a ton, but end up using them not a whole lot. So you get lots of compromised solutions that are all about looking good on the spec sheet but don’t stand up to the actual rigors of use. The result is that most RVs, after…
RV’ing/trailering is mind-boggling to me. I’ll never get it.
They know it’s not tall enough to sell in America. How are people going to get to Target without something that looks like it can go off-road?
Good thing my man is a lawyer for a living and not a YouTube thumbnail consultant.
“that was her signal to apologize and promise to behave”
This is very dumb. The smallest state should absolutely embrace the smallest trucks. It’s called branding, you dummies!
