It should be a given that everyone is flawed, including so-called ‘heroes’. Though personally I think part of the problem is that people believe in heroes in the first place and want to worship someone perfect. There’s no such thing. People need to get the fuck over that and get real.

I can see Obama stepping up and leading the party from the wilderness. He seems to be genuinely shocked. I don’t see him going quietly in the night and letting the country go into chaos.
