WINX Club!! That’s what this animation reminds me of!

I didn’t grow up with She-Ra either (before my time) but I checked out some episodes on YouTube. It’s a pretty good show.

I’m not lovin it.

Imagine THAT grinning at you from across the bar.

I went to see The Nun, opening weekend. Was disappointed.

I watched from 2004-2009 because it was the only channel still playing music videos. And, history nerd that I am, I really liked their I Love the 70s/80s/90s marathons.

I blame the fact that she’s a parent now. She’s been famous for decades but only popped out a kid last year, and she’s been increasingly insufferable ever since. It’s something I notice happens a lot after women (especially older women) have their first child.

And that’s why all of mine are fictional.

It’s not “balancing” anything if it’s dishonest. You can still support someone without covering up for their blatant mistakes.

Weed makes you feel giggly for a couple hours - opiates offer oblivion.

In fact, I think someone who wants to be a Nazi should be required to show their Nazi pride by getting a prominent 88 tattoo someplace

The power of makeup. Not only is he wearing a bit of foundation (no one’s lips are the exact same color as their whole face) but those brows are almost definitely drawn in.

Yeah, but 6.7 million views don’t lie - the kids love it! :P

I live in a purple state - things would be very subdued. There’d be celebrations, but quiet ones as one can never be sure who’s the hardcore neo-con in the room. And they have no problem getting confrontational about shit they don’t like.

But only for the next 2 years. How much damage can one do in two years, the final 6 months of which will be spent campaigning for re-election?

That is a very, VERY old wives tale. I distinctly remember my great-grandmother saying something similar back in the late 90s.
