And it only took several weeks of intense outcry from media outlets, advertisers, viewers, all their other major creators, and the nation of Japan!

Eh, 22 is only 4 years removed from 17 - and one is rarely better than the other. It took a lot of pride-swallowing to admit it myself, but most people in their very early 20s are every bit clueless dunderheads as their teens.

I was about 6 or 7 when my mom first started making me help out in the kitchen. They can start out with low-impact, safe tasks (mixing, sifting, peeling eggs), then move on to making full dishes by themselves when they’re a bit older. I first learned how to make grilled cheese and tuna fish by myself when I was 9.

I think you just hit upon the reason why YouTube will be embracing this trend very quickly....

I’m not sure. Some random ass anime girl (or boy) wouldn’t hold much appeal for me. But if they were a specific character from a manga/anime series, then I’d be on board. I could think of tons of ways that’d be hilarious.

There’s been talk of that in the Kpop fandoms as well. Several artists are known PC gamers - Baekhyun from EXO, most notably - and it would obviously draw in some numbers to have them do livestreams or Let’s Plays. A couple videos have been put out on a one-time, experimental basis, but that’s it.

Well that was quick.

Except if she’s intoxicated. Then she can’t consent to anything, and people would still call you a predator.

What I hate about HOA’s is that they have the gall to tell you what to do on your property without chipping in one red cent to your mortgage or utilities.

Dude just take it. He can obviously afford to keep you and he’s not being a jerk about it - until one of those things changes, “don’t look a gift horse in the mouth”!

It’s wrong but I giggled

I see no problem letting a SO (or even a FWB, as this guy clearly is) stay rent-free, so long as they’re contributing something to the household.

I have never gotten the flu shot and done just fine without.

The matter of hours in the day is definitely a huge one, taking care of a family while working 3 part time jobs (which all require open availability) doesn’t leave much time for meal planning, couponing, shopping, and cooking.

Eating only one or two won’t do anything, but any more than that and you risk vomiting, dizziness/fainting, and severe abdominal cramps. Only the unlucky die, usually from cardiac arrest.

And that’s the double-standard of it all. This is only one of thousands of articles written about who’s to blame for fat kids, because most of us see fat as inherently gross or a sign of poor discipline.

....it sort of falls apart unless you think the human gene pool has evolved to start selecting for overweight people.

There’s also the question of circumstances. Some people feed their kids garbage because they live in a food desert and can’t always swing a trip across town to a real grocery store. Some work entirely too many hours to reasonably be expected to cook, particularly for a large family. Or, more commonly, they can’t

No. Parents should be held accountable for a child’s diet & exercise, but that does not equal controlling their weight. Weight gain/loss is dictated by your metabolism, which is dictated largely by genetics. Food and activity can influence metabolism, but are never the deciding factor in how it will behave.
