It’s guaranteed from level 34 and 35 Prison of Elders, and a really high chance from the 6 and 8 win packages from the Trials of Osiris. I’ve gotten two from Nightfalls already as well. If you run all three characters, you have an almost guaranteed 12 every week.

From what I have read...you wont find it via drop. You need to play Lv 34 Prison of Elders, Nightfall Strikes, or play Trials of Osiris to get Etheric Lights.
