When I think of Quake, I think of the first 2 games. I dislike the rest in the series enough that I honestly forgot they existed. What Quake has become is not at all what Quake started out as.

As I responded to someone else, I didn’t play much past 2, since I didn’t like the direction the franchise went. I actually honestly forgot there were quake games after the second.

Ahhh ... I never got in to Quake Arena. Forgot it even existed. All that comes to mind when I think of Quake are the first 2 games. I didn’t like where the franchise went from there.

Agreed. It's as if EA only found aboutE3 last week and just quickly threw this conference together.

It’s not really about the internet, as there was still a ton of secrecy leading up to E3 only a handful or so years ago. It’s like companies aren’t even trying to keep things under wraps anymore.

Anyone else miss the days when E3 came around and we didn’t already know everything that was being announced?

You underestimate the effort in releasing statements like this. It’s highly likely they had every intention of making the announcement today. It was reported here early, because of people who don’t know how to keep their mouths shut and leak information (not the writers here, but their source) before it’s supposed to…

Is it known what’s different about the ‘Founders Edition’ cards? Is it just a premium price for early adopter who want to buy reference cards?

My Rift arrived yesterday and it appears to be defective.

Given he spouted that insanity while working, he got exactly what he deserved. If I found any of my staff spewing that crap in front of customers, you better believe they’ll be having to find new employment.

I just finished this game and really didn’t enjoy it much. At its best, it was an extremely mediocre game. Otherwise, it was either really boring or getting on my nerves due to the poor combat control.

I’d imagine that would be fairly difficult, and fairly messy, while wearing a diaper.

I couldn’t go on with my day being the only person with that image in my head ;)

Really? I’m a guy and think it’s extremely odd not to have a trash can in the bathroom. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever been to anyone’s house who didn’t have one in the bathroom. Maybe us Canadians understand that trash cans should be placed in areas where things are regularly disposed of.

Rom was the only boss who gave me any real trouble. It actually made me stop playing he game. When I came back to it several months later, I beat Rom on my second attempt :)
