Ordered mine and picking it up Wednesday morning. Perfect timing too, as I have a flight that evening. Hopefully I have enough time to transfer everything from my current iPad (pre M1 Pro) and load it up with movies. Really looking forward to the new screen.

Looks like it might be promising, but those CG face huggers look weird.

The problem is that you find many premium chocolate chip ice creams. It’s usually sub-par vanilla ice cream with low quality chocolate. The President’s Choice chocolate crackle ice creams are fantastic and those should become the standard for that flavour.

The only reason I close and app like this is if I want to remove it from the list so I can get to other apps quicker.

Tesla would be much better off without Musk. I live in a large city and Tesla is the only car manufacturer that has stock. I’ve generally stopped watching new series right away. Too often, shows get terrible 2 or 3 seasons in and it all just feels like a waste of time. I wait until a series is nearly over and will start watching if people are still fairly positive about it.

This turntable supports aptX HD, so that would make it 4:1 compression. It’s also a significant improvement in audio quality over standard BT audio, as long as the receiver supports it.

Princess Mononoke has an absolutely horrible dub. Nearly everyone sounds like they’re phoning it in, especially Billy Bob Thornton.

I can pretty much guarantee it won’t be ‘really, really good’ at that price point. It’ll likely be an average DAC, like what’s on the Yamaha CD-S303.

There are two things I want to know about this unit:

I couldn’t even make it 10 hours in to the game. I really wanted to like it, but I found it so incredibly boring. The only thing the game accomplished for me was to have me start playing No Man’s Sky again.

I’m trying to figure out where the turning point was for filmmakers, where they stopped trying to include CG that looked realistic and went with the complete opposite. Wouldn’t be an issue if the entire movie was animated, but it’s not.

If you haven’t checked them out yet, I highly recommend the dBrand Darkplates. The black ones stop the system from sticking out like a sore thumb and they also make the console a bit slimmer due to not having any overhang.

My main problem with this series is that it has absolutely nothing new to say by the 4th episode. It just kept repeating the same stuff over and over and over, which made it extremely tedious to get through all 8 episodes. Pretty disappointed with it overall, even though I liked what they tried to do.

I’ve played around with Remote Play a bit and it’s pretty hit or miss depending on the game. Hot Wheels Unleashed is unplayable (IMO), due to significant frame timing issues, which isn’t a problem if I stream the PC version of the game using Steam Link.
