George Romero’s Day of the Dead
George Romero’s Day of the Dead
I would have waited for a working PC port.
Stop with this ‘pre-orders are the devil’ BS. You can save a ton of money taking advantage of sales.
There was an interview with someone from Bethesda who talked about how quickly the set initially sold out. He mentioned that they were looking for a way to get more units in the hands of retailers. I can look for the interview later, but I'm fairly certain it was on Kotaku.
I’m extremely impressed that they’ve adjusted to demand for this limited release. Most of the time increasing production on these sets is either shrugged off or simply unrealistic due to manufacturing time. This should mean there won’t be much of a market for scalpers when it’s released, which couldn’t make me happier.
I only buy console exclusives on the consoles. Given I have a very high-end gaming PC, it’s usually a better experience playing games on it, when they’re available. There’s no excuse for problems like these. The other Batman games play perfectly on PC. Hopefully they get these problems resolved ASAP.
I’m in the same boat as you. I tend to only buy console exclusive titles on the consoles and buy the rest on PC. I was really looking forward to playing this tonight. There’s no excuse for it not to run at full speed on a system like mine (4790k, 2xGTX980), but people with even higher specs are having trouble.
Only if it was purchased directly through Steam. A lot of people bought it for 45% off on through Green Man Gaming.
I think a lot of people bought the game through GMG’s VIP sale (like myself), so they’re not getting refunds. I was looking forward to playing this tonight, but think I’ll wait until they get the first patch out the door.
It’s a horrible Robocop film. It’s a mediocre robotic cop action film.
Can they at least drop the prices on the Vita memory cards already? I need a couple 32GB cards and have no desire to pay the current retail price.
I was very happy with what’s been announced this week. I ended the week with 28 pre-orders, taking advantage of Amazon.ca’s 30% off promotion. The 28 are only console titles, as its never difficult to get deals on PC game pre-orders close to release (can anyone still believe the 45% off GMG has for Arkham Knight?).
It’s not just semantics. Patricia is a professional writer and her articles should be written accurately. She had incorrect information in the original article, it’s been corrected, the end.
First, take a deep breath and calm down. If this discussion doesn’t interest you, there was no reason for you to even spend time responding.
If you’re honestly going to be that anal about it, you better go edit your article. You wrote:
If someone was going to buy the game regardless, but wanted the Pip-Boy, the result is paying $60 extra to get the Pip-Boy.
Not exactly true. In most cases, what you see in the headset (Morpheus, Oculus Rift, etc) is mirrored on the TV/monitor. Other people can watch and see exactly what you’re seeing.
The Special Edition is $119.99, which comes with the game and Pip-Boy. Since the game alone costs $59.99, that makes the Pip-Boy cost $60. It’s not rocket science.
The piece that most people leave out is that Doki Doki Panic was originally SMB 2, but they ended up deciding not to make it a Mario game.
