Any idea how long the cable is for the Rift and how close you need to be to the sensor?

This is exactly how I feel about VR. I love my DK2 and these types of experiences are my favourite. Full games can be great too, but they really need to be made with a “VR first” mindset to really feel special.
I'm hoping the memory cards start getting cleared out at substantial discounts. I could use a couple 32GB cards, but won't pay full retail for them.
Allow me to repeat myself ...
I never implied my comment related to everyone who complains. I very specifically commented about those who are obviously complaining for no other reason than to be argumentative on the Internet. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with that person’s opinion. It has everything to do with that person posting something for…
Look at that blocky blade of grass. It’s no better than what my Magnavox Odyssey can do! ;-)
Get off your high horse and stop putting words in people’s mouths.
Yes, there are valid reasons to pre-order.
I’m well aware how these sales work. I definitely haven’t paid full price for the 600+ games I have on Steam.

How has Dying Light not been 40%+ off yet during the Steam Summer Sale? It’s only been 10% off since it started. You can pretty much always get it for 25% off on GMG.

I’d buy Infinity and Amiibo figures regardless of their game abilities, simply because I enjoy collecting figures like that. The fact they offer abilities in games is an added bonus. I haven’t invested in Skylanders, because the characters don’t interest me. I likely won’t invest in these Lego sets, because they take…
Did you get a chance to play Toy Solders: War Chest? I love the character line up, but it looks like a $1.99 mobile game. I’d really like to hear more about this one.
I keep hoping that Nintendo will do a surprise release of Super Mario Maker this week! Waiting until Sept is gonna suck.
I'll be eagerly waiting for more information during E3! Until then, I'll continue enjoying my DK2 and hope that Project Cars finally resolved the massive latency issues in VR mode.
The DK2 is $350 and Oculus has always said they aim to sell as low cost as possible. Given that the main addition here is the controller, I’m willing to bet that the price will be $399.99.
The problem with VR is that it’s not something you can ever fully understand by watching a conference. It’s something you need to experience first hand and the software you demo is an important part of that experience.
There were two things I was hoping to learn more about today:
I see the Summer Sale site layout, but most games are still regular price. They don’t have to rush fixing that though, as it’s stopping me from spending money.
I’m ready!
